Acer c300 tablet color went nuts after vid driver update

Hi I am Vortash .. first thing to do is get rid of your old driver and the update .. start the computer up in safe mode . you do this by hitting f8 just after the bios flash screen or if you dont have that .. just as it is about to start windows .. go to add and remove programs remove the driver if it is listed .. then go to add and remove hardware ( both these are in control panel ) and click on Display adapter and uninstall them then close all the programs and rebboot it will search it'self for drivers and at first probably load generic PCI drivers dont worry let it do that .. you can change it after .. when its rebbooted install the correct drivers and reebbot again the computer should then re-install your graphics .. hope this helps Regards Vortash

I have HP 2710 P tablet on windows 7 . the Ricoh SD card reader is not accessible at all even after i updated the driver manually , i went to the device manager and it shows no errors and driver is installed correctly as well as when i put a memory card i can hear a plug sound which i normally hear when i connect a any usb device. but still i can not see the device on my computer

Have you tried putting in another memory card? Because it would appear that there is something wrong with your memory card. Try to use another card and see if this changes anything. If it does, then your memory card is faulty. If you have some important data in your memory card then I suggest you contact a data recovery company.Hope this helps.

Need updated drivers. I just dug my old ViewPad 1000 out of storage and I can't find any of the drivers or SW for it. I am most interested in the networking drivers and the SW for the stylus (if it ever had any). I'd like to upgrade the HD and use it next to the TV to surf the web & as a TV guide. Sure would be happy if someone could help me out.

Always get your drivers from the manufacturer of your Laptop, Notebook or Desktop. If you were to log on to the manufacturer's web site, usually one is able to download if available, by model number, All available Driver downloads as required. If the driver is not available, perhaps your manufacturer does not support the OS you are installing. This is the best way of ensuring up to date drivers for your system and they are free of charge! There are no XP drivers to be found with Microsoft as XP is no longer supported. Some manufacturers may have a limited number of Drivers still listed. I hope this helps.

I want to replace my Toshiba M400 80GB drive with a 320GB drive. What I have done: 1. Downloaded on unzipped onto floppy the KR10I raid driver from Toshiba (F6 during Windows Install) 2. Updated BIOS to latest version 3.30 If I use the 80GB drive and attempt a Fresh install of Windows XP utilizing F6 and the RAID drivers on the floppy disk, I can get the Install to "see" the 80GB drive and I get to the EULA screen. If I swap the 80GB drive for the 320GB drive and go through the same process as above, the Windows installer complains that it cannot find a HD, even though I use the same F6 process above.

I believe this hard drive may be beyond the motherboards capabilities of detecting. Does it see it in the BIOS at all with the 320GB attached? Are you certain the 320GB drive works fine? Have you tried it in another machine? Please let me know and I can help!
