\system32\ntoskrnl.exe toshiba portege m-205 tablet pc with no cd rom, how can i reinstall the file

I assume the pc does not boot to windows without this file. You can reinstall windows. However, this will likely remove your data in the process. If you can get into the BIOS, see if it can boot from the network or a USB drive. If so you can download something based on Linux that you can so boot and that is able to read/write to NTFS partitions. The easiest way to replace this file for someone with little or no experience in these matters is to remove the hard drive from the tablet & hook it up to an IDE/SATA to USB adapter. Then plug it into a desktop.USB Port and it will be seen by the host PC as an add on hard drive.

Where sim card position in m400 - Toshiba Portege M400 PPM40U01000E Tablet PC

Only a select few (very few) M400's have a 3G wireless module, and from what I understand they do not use a Sim Card as they use CDMA technology. You can tell if your unit has the 3G unit with several different ways. A. Check the device Manager B. Try and install the 3G power management driver, and see if it loads. C. Check using Toshiba Utilities if installed D. This is the hardest way, but the best. Remove the keyboard, and if the 3G unit is installed, it will be at the top right hand side of the case under plastic film. (I have had three M400's, including the top of the range one that I am writing this on, and I have never seen a 3G unit). If you do have the 3G unit installed, look for an ESN number. You should then be able to then call Verizon and have the service activated. G-Luck

WHEN I LOAD OS IT SAID NO HARD DISK - Toshiba Portege M400 PPM40U01000E Tablet PC

I did find this manual for it http://support.toshiba-tro.de/tedd-files2/0/userman-en-20070720154127.zipmaybe it might be somewhere in it of how the bios sees the hard drive. normally a bios will boot to the DVD drive first then a hard drive so make sure you dont have anything connected like a USB or a cd in the DVD drive unless it is the OS software. also disconnect the network cable if it is plugged in.

It doesn´t start up. Maybe mother board problem...

Clock of the computer

This means that the cmos battery on the motherboard is flat and keeps losing time and date and probably the memory settings, this is only a small disc shaped watch type battery CR2032 and can be found on the motherboard, a pc repair shop would be able to do it for you for a small fee.
