I have a fujitsu stylistic q702 hybrid tablet notebook pic I forgot my bios password The computer will load up windows 8 but if I try to enter bios menu on startup I am asked for a password

I can't find a decent manual for your laptop but there will be 2 pins on the motherboard that will say BIOS Clear. Short these 2 pins and turn the computer on. This is the only way to bypass the BIOS password. This operation will clear the BIOS and reset to factory defaults. After the BIOS is cleared, turn the computer off and take off the short.

Fujitsu T4020D does not boot. Leading up to this, 1. fan got noisy, 2. when booting failed, I could access the BIOS, but can't anymore, 3. screen is now blank with no BIOS , beeping, etc 4. the LCD panel indicates battery, but no HDD icon. If this can't be fixed, I am considering a replacement, but there is a BIOS password that needs to be cracked. Is this possible?

Hello,It is possible that your laptop has faced some kind of impact. Don't worry things can be managed. Now that you want to replace your laptop, clearing whose bios password depends upon the model of bios which is Phoenix in your case. Ok, let's start it.There are two ways to approach forcing the Bios/CMOS to be reset to its default values: Option #1: Mechanically, by removing all power to the Bios/CMOS thereby forcing it to reset itself to its stored defaults, which include no password or the default password employed by the Bios manufacturer, and Option #2: Using a program to either locate and identify the password and reveal it to you or erasing the password entirely. These are referred to as password by-pass utilities or cracks. Let's look at Option #1 first, and then move on to Option #2 if necessary.I am giving you a link where you will get text written by me and my friend to help you out. What I have written above is linked to the llink under.Clearing the BIOS or CMOS password.I am also attaching the Phoenix BIOS guide 's link to help you know more about your BIOS.Know about your BIOS.Here is one more link that will guide you to reset the BIOS password if the above doesn't work.Link 2 to reset BIOS password.Hope you can do all this mess with your machine.Keep me informed if you want to do something else or what happens.I am following up.Have a nice day.Regards.
