My fujitsu t4220 wont open windows how do i restore it with out the softwere cd

I had this problem too and it turns out it was the secondary battery. When I took that out and replaced it with the DVD drive, Windows 7 came back good as new. I have a Fujitsu T5010, BTW. So the takeaway from this is that I had a faulty battery.

FixYa solutions for every thing Resent problems with my Gateway CX200X Tablet PC made me believe it was infected beyond a virus scan repair. It would NOT let me Virus scan, quick restore to a previous date, go to safe mode it would divert to set up screen and it would not read restore disc. I took out the internal battery and exterior battery over night and the next day quick restored to a month earlier then full scanned twice with Microsoft Essentials, cleaned the disc and defragged. It still would divert to setup screen instead of safe mode. MSN Messenger would repeatedly return to startup list after running msconfig, even though I removed it from the computer. The last straw was when after many adjustments to Power options, the screen would turn off not the hard drive or go into standby. Nor, would the screen come back on. I manually induced standby using the FN and F3 buttons. It worked, for about a half hour when the computer started on it's own. After saving what I needed off the hard drive to a Flash Stick, I full restored using the 2 discs except just before it was done (about 93%) it would turn off the laptop. Restart would show blue screen showing, NTLDR is missing. I removed the receiver for wireless mouse and... Restored again, and c000021a (fatal system error). Restored again, "windows could not start the following is missing or corrupt: windows root>\system32\ntsoskrnl.exe" Restored again, windows could not start the following is missing or corrupt: windows root>\system32\HAL,DLL. Restored again, windows could not start the following is missing or corrupt: windows root>\system32\RMCast.sys Is the corruption on the hard drive or in deeper? Would replacing the HDD be the cure?

Remember i do have the 3 original restore/recovery windows xp disks everytime i put it in the usb cdrom drive it takes me to file browser with the restore folder but it wont run the restore process

Hi First you need to make the USB CD-rom Drive as the first boot device by going to BIOS setup by tapping F2 when the system turns ON , after changing the boot order insert the first disc and restart the computer it should run from the disc.

Startup problem when i start the pc tablet, the it showed the regular hp logo, then it showed me another screen where i have to choose "start windows normally",:safemode, safe mode with networking, etc. when i chose normally, and as soon as windows xp was loading, there was a blue error screen for less than a sec and restarts my comp and takes me back to the choices again, can anybody solve this???!

If you are getting a Blue screen repeatedly and you can't start up to windows in any custom setting ( from f8 start up menu ) one way to solve the problem is to Use the restore disc or windows installation cd or dvd to install windows into the computer or perform a repair installation if a windows already exists on the computer and the setup can find to perform a repair installationthis is for xp, but its similar on 2000 and on vista.insert your Windows XP Setup CD, and restart your computer.1.When the Press any key to boot from CD message is displayed on your screen, press a key to start your computer from the Windows XP CD.if not then the computer is not set to start up from a cd, you can either enter the setup / bios to change that setting OR right when you power up the computer look at the screen it will say what button to press in order to enter boot menu or bios, it will very likely be button F12 or similar, it should say on the screen when you power on.if it doesn't, then you need to go into the bios and change the boot order so that the computer starts from the CD first.after that you should be able to start from the cd and install the OS (Operating system, eg.Windows) here's some info on how to work the bios: Repeat step 1 when you have changed the boot order.2.Press ENTER when you see the message To setup Windows XP now, and then press ENTER displayed on the Welcome to Setup screen.3.Do not choose the option to press R to use the Recovery Console.4.In the Windows XP Licensing Agreement, press F8 to agree to the license agreement.5.Make sure that your current installation of Windows XP is selected in the box, and then press R to repair Windows XP.6.Follow the instructions on the screen to complete Setup.7.Ones windows is working you will need the drivers for your computer, they are at the makers website, for hp and compaq. for acer for all other brands go to google and write Brand drivers. Should get you to the right place. Dell is most likely and so on.
