Notbook is crashing

I own a Fujitsu 1510D. Since recently, evrytime I move it it crashes, somtimes restarts, sometimes I am getting a blue screen. I restored all the software from the restore disks, that did not help. I realized that itmust be a hardware issue, thought that it is the memory, I replaced it, did not help. Can it be the motherboard (or chipset on the motherboard)? If so, is it worthwile to repair? Please advise.

Notbook is crashing

Hi. This could be as simple as a loose or poor connection somewhere. There are a couple of things that I would look at. Firstly, try another ac mains adaptor incase the power lead is intermittent. Next you could look at the power socket on the back of the laptop. These can play up and sometimes are responsible for poor connections. The above will be made worse if you have removed the battery or if the battery is old or poor. Put a decent battery in and keep it charged even if you are using a power adaptor. If there are breaks in power the battery will act as a reservoir and prevent dropouts. You say that it crashes when you move it, is it ok when you leave on a table and operate it? The only other thing I can think of is that there could be a loose connection inside the unit. I would check out the connection ribbons before pulling out chipsets or motherboards. Good luck..

I had the same problem, i had to install the updates on the "drivers and applications restore cd".  however that didnt work. so i had to download the 1.030 driver from the fujitsu web site.  this worked. but when i tried to calibrate the tablet i was not able to get it aligned.  there used to be 2 different programs for updating the tablet, but now i cannot find the other one.
