I have an RCA Tablet RCT6773W22 Android Version 4.4.2 The tablet is in Silent Mode.

I'm betting the volume switch is actually stuck and that the sound is just going down to "silent" the moment you release the "up" button. Does the sound get loud and just fade away? If so then that's probably it.

Lenovo X60 laptop display has stopped working

The backlight is broken. These are small flourescent tube lights about the width of a pencil lead. You dropped the laptop and the bulb broke. It will have to be replaced. The driver has nothing to do with your problem, reinstalling it will not get your picture back.

R15-S822 turning it to a tablet mode puts the computer in standby

The only thing i can think of its not reading you are turning the screen possibly because the technician didnt do something right, one solution may be to set the action when u close your laptop to not do anything. to do this , go to your start menu/ control panel/ performance and maintenance/ and then power options. On the menu that pops up, select the "Advanced" tab on the top and select, "Do Nothing" in the drop down menu for "when I close the lid....."

Screeching noise My thinkpad x60 tablet has started to make a screeching noise a lot of times when I turn the sound up. I dual boot vista and ubuntu but the noise is only in vista and I do not hear it when I go into rescue and recovery either. It sounds like a feedback problem from the onboard mic because whenever I rub my finger against the mic I can hear it through the speakers and the screeching noise changes. I have tried turning the sound down on the mic all the way to zero, but I can still hear the screeching noise and I can still hear noise from the mic through the speakers. I tried disabling the mic, but it disabled my entire speaker system and everything and I had to reinstall soundMAX. After doing that I got my sound back but the mic also. Any help anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated.

Right click on the speaker icon in your taskbar, select Open Volume Control. If you do not see the Microphone control select options>properties and select it from the list of check boxes. Press OK. Check the mute box for your microphone.

FixYa solutions for every thing Resent problems with my Gateway CX200X Tablet PC made me believe it was infected beyond a virus scan repair. It would NOT let me Virus scan, quick restore to a previous date, go to safe mode it would divert to set up screen and it would not read restore disc. I took out the internal battery and exterior battery over night and the next day quick restored to a month earlier then full scanned twice with Microsoft Essentials, cleaned the disc and defragged. It still would divert to setup screen instead of safe mode. MSN Messenger would repeatedly return to startup list after running msconfig, even though I removed it from the computer. The last straw was when after many adjustments to Power options, the screen would turn off not the hard drive or go into standby. Nor, would the screen come back on. I manually induced standby using the FN and F3 buttons. It worked, for about a half hour when the computer started on it's own. After saving what I needed off the hard drive to a Flash Stick, I full restored using the 2 discs except just before it was done (about 93%) it would turn off the laptop. Restart would show blue screen showing, NTLDR is missing. I removed the receiver for wireless mouse and... Restored again, and c000021a (fatal system error). Restored again, "windows could not start the following is missing or corrupt: windows root>\system32\ntsoskrnl.exe" Restored again, windows could not start the following is missing or corrupt: windows root>\system32\HAL,DLL. Restored again, windows could not start the following is missing or corrupt: windows root>\system32\RMCast.sys Is the corruption on the hard drive or in deeper? Would replacing the HDD be the cure?
