Tablet onscreen keyboard keeps reversing capslock.

Hi Melissa When does this happen? Hitting Return/Enter/or the key will generally throw this up. It is also noticeable on spreadsheets which jump to the next specified cell and automatically create a leading upper case character in the cell just used. These are operating system or program settings. Try noting when this happens and then re-create it to be sure. Log the sequence to see if there are any keys which are involved (also the length of time or even just tapping a key or spot on the tablet surface can have a totally different meaning) Hope this helps....

My company uses Panasonic Toughbook CF-18. We have ones that are over a year old, over 6 month old, and even just a few months old. In the past few weeks we started experiencing a problem where the units are shutting off by themselves. Totally losing power and shutting off. It doesn't happen when plugged into AC Power. The units only shut off when they are tapped hard or hit somewhere. Sometimes also by a quick movement or even when you close the LCD screen. We tried using spacers (a foam piece between the battery and the battery door) to stop or limit battery movement. Although this helps, it doesn't solve the problem. No matter how tight and what measures I take to keep the battery in it's place, chalking it until it can't moves. The unit still shut off when impacted. Can't some other internal component be causing this? What else can I do?

The battery interface has broken away from main board at the limit stop. Requires trained tech to repair. You mentioned these are new.. Cf 18 have been discontinued for years. Are these cf19's

Try to charge the battery with the Panasoniv programm: Calibration Utility. I think is a battery problem.
