Space Bar First started noticing that, without touching space bar, a continuous stream of "spaces" was being input into the address bar (I was on-line at the time). Then, shut off/restart, and the space bar does not work. Took the key off, re-attached the small wire "spring" and the key... The space bar worked briefly but is now incapacitated again. ** I don't know if the "spring" was already detached when I took the key off or if it detached when I did so. So, before I call in a "professional" (I'm hardly a professional myself), I figured I'd find a site on-line and ask a potentially simple question. Does anybody know if this could merely be the spring detached or do I have a bigger problem on my hands? How would anybody on this site go about getting this diagnosed/fixed without getting into big bucks? BTW: My Toshiba has been kind of problematic, with a defective Graphics card/driver (don't know which was the problem) that cost me more down-time than I could withstand easily... I like this tablet but, man,... based on this and other Toshiba products (TVs) I've owned, I seriously question their basic reputation... Any feedback on THAT? Thanks

Sounds like something's not making contact properly. I don't think you're going to have much success getting that key to work, at least on a permanent basis. If your computer is under warranty, this merits a replacement keyboard. If it's not under warranty, replacement keyboards can be found online from parts providers or on eBay. Just make sure to get the right one for your model. You can usually install them yourself quite easily (typically three or four screws, five minutes or less). If you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself, it's a very basic repair and if a service provider sounds like he wants to charge you too much, he probably is. Keyboards run in the $30-70 range depending on your model, and I wouldn't pay too much more than $30 to have it installed. Forget places like the Geek Squad; a local shop can probably do it cheaper. I'd say altogether you're looking at $50-100 installed. And as for your other question... I work servicing computers, and Toshiba machines are by far the worst products I've encountered. I don't recommend them to anyone. I haven't had much luck with other Toshiba electronics, but then again I haven't used them extensively either. Hope this helps. Javabytes

Trio stealth g2 shows my internal storage space as "0", it won't let me download apps, or updates. I have reset my tablet several times (pwr down volume)... erased everything I could. I know my wifi is working, I can pull up web sites, pay store descriptions, but can't download anything. I have also attached an external flash drive to see if this would help. Any help would be appreciated.

My daughters tablet did the same thing. After we had it for about 2 weeks. Called Trio tech support. Ended up having to send it to them and they sent me a new one.

Ok I got this Cruz reader second hand and didn't have mental fortitude to pretty it on and realize those little dots are to draw security pattern... Which I do not have duh! It will go as far as the little robot with triangled (!) I press and hold power button then tap and release up volume and power buttons as instructed and nothing. For a second when the robot and such appear the little bar that lets you know its doing something so be patient pops up but vanishes right away! But the reset options menu never appears and I have to eventually press the actual reset button between the power button and USB port but it goes right back to the pattern screen... Am I holding the buttons too long, not long enough, or not press them fast enough the second time? Please help I've done this like 20+ times so I'm about to go nuts the machine can not beat me :)
