When i turn on my pc it ask for a password i never created, how do i fix this problem

Hello again sounds like it has lost its bios configuration and wants the CMOS re-setting check the hard drive hasn't come loose or your CD if it is an interchangeable one .. and if the floppy drive was in the machine ( not a disk an actual changeable drive ) .was in the last time you shut it down put it back in and reboot see if it's ok unlikely but worth a try So if no joy you will need to remove the CMOS battery probably located under the keyboard .. or sometimes behind the ram module underneath and a few machines have their own battery holder under the machine .. its silver looks like a large watch battery and is in a plastic holder .. don't touch it with your hands they are static sensitive as are the other components around it .. wear a pair of marigolds the rubber will help protect the circuit ... hope this is a success for you good luck .. Regards Vortash

How can I break at bios password on a travelmate c110

Be VERY VERY wary if your bios suddenly asks for a password without you setting one. A blue screen which is then followed by the bios asking for a password could very well be the result of an attempt (successful or not) by malicious software to embed itself in your bios. This specialised attack is un-dettectable by anti-virus programs because it resides on the motherboards BIOS E_PROM and survives even if the hard-drive is replaced and a clean OS is loaded. This sort of attack isn't from people interested in using your computer as a mere spam-bot, it's far, far, far more serious than that. I'll say no more!I know this is an old thread but people with the same problem in future will see this while searching for similar problems.

I wifi in my house for multable devices, the Tablet is one of them.well when I powered the tablet on it ask me for password or pin the only problem with that is I never set on up and I have no book for

Probably your WiFi home network is password-protected. You are asked to enter the network password , not the tablet's password. If you are asked about a pin, it means that the tablet is trying to connect to WiFi in WPS (WiFi Protected Setup) mode. You may find the network password in the set up guide of the wireless modem/router. The pin may be on a sticker affixed to the router. You enter the password or the pin, not both.

It is inside your modem or router. You will need to login to that to get it. You type in a group of numbers in your web browser such as (Internet Exmplorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari) And then go here to check what your default login is to login to your router. http://www.routerpasswords.com/ . Your wifi name will be your wifi name and your password/passphrase will be in there as well.

Password problems on a Toshiba Protege m200 laptop

If you cannot access the machine after if has been powered up, it is still possible to get past the BIOS password. The BIOS password is stored in CMOS memory that is maintained while the PC is powered off by a small battery, which is attached to the motherboard. If you remove this battery, all CMOS information (including the BIOS password) will be lost. You will need to re-enter the correct CMOS setup information to use the machine. The machines owner or user will most likely be alarmed when it is discovered that the BIOS password has been deleted. On some motherboards, the battery is soldered to the motherboard, making it difficult to remove. If this is the case, you have another alternative. Somewhere on the motherboard you should find a jumper that will clear the BIOS password. If you have the motherboard documentation, you will know where that jumper is. If not, the jumper may be labeled on the motherboard. If you are not fortunate enough for either of these to be the case, you may be able to guess which jumper is the correct jumper. This jumper is usually standing alone near the battery. If you cannot locate this jumper, you might short both of the points where the battery connects to the motherboard. If all else fails, you may have to clear the BIOS password by resetting the RTC (Real Time Clock) IC (Integrated Circuit) on your motherboard. Many RTC's require an external battery. If your RTC is one of this type, you can clear the BIOS password just by unsocketing the RTC and reseating it.Good luck and more powernicole
